For many of our customers Isis has enabled their desire for the owning and understanding of a steam engine to be fulfilled. The simplicity of the design illustrates the principles involved without intimidating yet retains the style of engines which once provided the power in many of our mills and factories.
Regardless of whether kit or factory built, Isis engines are produced from precision parts each carefully made and checked to ensure reliability in service.
The proven cylinder assembly is manufactured from non-ferrous metal and so not susceptible to the corrosion sometimes encountered with iron. Both the piston and valve rods pass through adjustable glands and the slide valve is readily accessible.
Available as an easy to assemble pre-painted kit, Isis may be specified in either red, green or blue finishes. Isis is dispatched with comprehensive instructions, the tools requires for assembly, individual certificate of authenticity and our equivalent factory finished versions are tested to run on air at 10psi.

If your model is in stock at the time of ordering, where possible your order is dispatched the same or next working day. If your model is in production at the time of ordering, your payment card is not charged until your model is ready for dispatch. Customers placing an order that they require to be delivered on or before a certain date are advised to contact us directly.
UK orders are usually dispatched using Parcelforce's tracked, 'express 24 hour' service. This service makes delivery on business days only and for outlying or remote parts of the UK may take longer than 24 hours.
International orders may use Parcelforce's rapid Global Express, Euro Priority Business or Global Priority services. The initial stages of the checkout will calculate shipping to your country and select the most cost efficient shipping method we use before you commit to ordering a model. These services are some of the few on the market advertised as tracked and require signature / monitor delivery.
For both UK and International parcels, we have negotiated a significant, double-digit discount with our carrier and this is passed on to the customer. Customers considering ordering more than one model are advised to email us directly to gain where possible a combined shipping quotation since the website calculates costs on each model being shipped individually.
